From a practice of spending time in nature observing and recording changes in nature over time, a pathway of our journeys surfaced, incorporating mankind’s history, our personal history, nature connection, nature immersion, nature valuing and an opening of our senses to a deeper knowing of belonging in wilderness.
The lens used to support reconnection with and revaluing of Nature is Biomimicry. The tool used to get “back to belonging” is the arts – understanding that the process of creativity fosters an opening of heart and mind and stimulates heightened sensitivity to our surroundings.
The journey of the senses, the heart and the creative mind in nature is thus experienced across time, space, intellectually, emotionally. It is manifested in words, songs, colour and dance.
